For women in rural India, work is a luxury.
They are often confined to their homes and caught up in household chores. Pushpa too was part of this vicious circle. But she wasn’t ready to give in, yet.
So, in the middle of the lockdown, Pushpa decided to turn the wheels of her fortune by spinning the charkha.
Slowly, she learned what it means to be independent and how she can take her family and community forward. She also gave equal importance to self-love.
